We worked with Giant Bicycles to create an iOS app that would help walk customers through the PowerFit bike fitting process in store. Working with a sports scientist and the Giant team, a formula was developed to calculate the optimum bike set up, based on the customer's own riding style, before suggesting suitable bikes.
We built a native iOS application that can be installed by the stores on an iPad or iPads. This allows them to go through the PowerFit process with an easy-to-use step-by-step interface. Once the PowerFit is complete, the app sends the data to the cloud and the store can log in to a web application to perform further analysis and recommend suitable Giant bikes/configurations, depending on the results of the PowerFit.
One of the key benefits of the PowerFit system is that it creates a record of the customers current and previous sessions, allowing staff to document progress on the bike as well as alert the customer to potential injuries. The PowerFit system takes product aftercare to the next level, as it looks to improve the customer's cycling ability as part of buying experience.
We supported the Giant team with a photoshoot and brand video to help push the PowerFit experience and drive customers to their stores.
